Resident Evil: Afterlife preview tied in with new Nightmare on Elm Street

Personally, I enjoyed the “Resident Evil” films. I was a big fan of the games (until RE 5 anyway) and the books really aren’t that bad. The fourth installment of the series doesn’t release until September of this year but there will be a preview of some kind popping up in theaters with the latest remake to be butchered, “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” The details haven’t been released just yet as to whether it will be a full on trailer or just a short teaser, but if you want to see it, you’ll have to go to the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movie. Or, you could just pass on the “Nightmare” flop, like so many millions of other moviegoers and catch the next day on YouTube.


In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

“Resident Evil: Afterlife” will be in theaters beginning September 10, 2010, Mila Jovovich is again kicking zombie ass as title character Alice and this time she’s bringing along a few friends.

My DVD recommendation for today is “Resident Evil: Extinction” (2007). Survivors of the Raccoon City catastrophe travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice joins the caravan and their fight against the evil Umbrella Corp. Enjoy. Aaron W. Tellock
